The ever popular Country Superstars are hitting the stage of Taunton Brewhouse on 29 January – hosted by Dolly Parton look alike Sarah Jayne – Europe’s leading tribute to the Queen of Country.
If you fancy a trip down memory lane, tap into some 60’s nostalgia on 4 February with Twist & Shout: The Ultimate 60s Show. An all-star cast from the West End deliver a musical powerhouse of a show that starts with the explosion of Brit Pop in 1962, through to the era of Flower Power and Free Love of the late Sixties. It’s said that “If you remember the Sixties you really weren’t there”. Come to Twist and Shout and you’ll discover just what you missed!
Next up is award-winning jazz vocalist and Radio 2 presenter Clare Teal and Her Trio, whose concerts are constantly evolving and renowned across the country for their fabulous arrangements, interspersed with Clare’s warm and witty storytelling. Catch them at the Brewhouse on 11 February. This brand-new show promises a rich jazz infused repertoire and eclectic song list, with some exhilarating swing and sparkling melodies as Clare and her band celebrate the Great American and British Song books.
Bye Bye Baby on 12 February is a jaw-dropping tribute to the musical phenomenon Jersey Boys and the timeless, iconic music of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. Incredible four part harmonies, roof raising falsetto complete with energetic and stylish choreography ensures that Bye Bye Baby is a show that will make it a night remember! The show Includes 31 of Valli’s greatest hits including Sherry, December ’63 (Oh What A Night), Grease, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Beggin’, Working My Way Back To You, and many more.
