Half term is the perfect time to slow down, spend time together, and try something a little different – and this year, we’ve got a brilliant mix of events lined up for families.

And it all starts with a little rebellion. 

Good news, music fans! We are launching a new Folk Series, bringing a carefully curated selection of folk artists to our intimate Studio Theatre. Rooted in tradition while open to new ideas, the series celebrates folk music as something living, shared, and constantly evolving.

Choosing what to see can sometimes feel like standing in front of the snack aisle when you’re hungry: too many good options, not enough time.

So each month, we pull together a handful of shows we’re especially excited about — the ones we’re talking about in the office, recommending to friends, and quietly circling in our own diaries.

This month’s picks have a bit of everything: big sing-along energy, top-tier comedy, cosy cinema trips, and music that wraps you up like a woolly jumper (which is certainly needed in these subarctic temperatures!). Whether you’re planning a proper night out or just fancy something easy and joyful midweek, we’ve got you covered.
