Covid Update

Everyone at Taunton Brewhouse is looking forward to welcoming larger audiences back for the summer after the current Covid restrictions are lifted on 19 July.

We do recognise that some people may be feeling anxious about fuller auditoriums and therefore certain events will remain socially distanced. This includes all films until the end of August. For anyone taking a regular class these will be held with reduced numbers until the end of the summer term.

Victoria Patch Communications and Development Manager said: ‘everyone here is thrilled to see the theatre buzzing again but we are aware some people will be feeling nervous, and we do want to ensure everyone is safe. Therefore, we are asking all Front of House staff to wear masks as they move around the building, and we are encouraging our audiences to do the same. Meanwhile we are continuing with our regime of deep cleaning and retaining our hand sanitisation stations.

For those people who aren’t quite ready to come inside we have some events outside this summer, including our free family shows in Somerset Square during weekends in July and August, and Shakespeare’s classic comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Castle Garden on 11 & 12 August.’
