Thank you to everyone who supported our Fit at 50 campaign.
Thanks to your generosity, we successfully reached our £20,000 fundraising target, unlocking additional funding from Arts Council England to upgrade our theatre lighting systems.
Now, we’re looking ahead to the next phase. Our focus is on essential improvements to our building, including repairing the roof, installing a new air conditioning system, and introducing solar panels to help secure a more sustainable future.
We’re actively seeking external funding, but every donation, no matter the size, will help us get there.

Phase One
The first stage of this project focuses on upgrading the lighting in our Main Auditorium and Studio Theatre.
We will replace our current systems with modern, dynamic LED lighting. These new systems will:

This essential upgrade has been made possible thanks to a generous award of £527,000 from Arts Council England.
Phase Two
The second phase of our campaign focuses on safeguarding the future of Taunton Brewhouse by investing in vital improvements to our building.
Funds raised will help us:
🏠 Repair and protect our ageing roof
❄️ Install a new, energy-efficient air conditioning system
☀️ Fit solar panels to reduce our carbon footprint
🔧 Improve the sustainability and resilience of our building
These essential works will help make Taunton Brewhouse more environmentally sustainable, reduce running costs, and ensure we can continue welcoming artists, audiences, and our community for the next 50 years.
