On 22nd September, Taunton Brewhouse is delighted to welcome local businesses for an evening of building and strengthening connections within the community.
As Taunton’s largest culture and arts centre, the Brewhouse has become the cornerstone of the community for almost 50 years, championing the lasting impact of the arts in everyday life. As a registered charity, the generosity of their volunteers, organisations, and businesses continue to support not only their varied programme, but also their work in community outreach, youth theatre, and accessing groups that would otherwise have faced barriers to the arts.
Part of their recent development plan, Taunton Brewhouse is launching a new tiered sponsorship scheme, engaging with a range of local businesses to forge and maintain meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships with the local and wider economy. Not only will businesses gain visibility through the theatre’s own publicity, but they will also receive exclusive benefits such as discounted rates on venue hire, VIP invitations, and complimentary tickets – all with the knowledge that their support will continue to leave a lasting impact on the arts.

To celebrate the start of this new scheme, Taunton Brewhouse are welcoming businesses and patrons to their Corporate Sponsorship event on Monday 22nd September from 4pm – 6pm, where they can learn more about the Brewhouse’s work and legacy, tour the venue, meet the staff and volunteers, and network with other local organisations. It will also be a chance to explore the many opportunities that go beyond financial support, such as:
VOLUNTEERING
A chance to give back to the community through the Brewhouse’s established volunteer programme, which can be tailored to act as an opportunity for personal development and team building.
TALENT
Sharing personal expertise and professional skills as a trustee or specialist volunteer, proving their commitment to social impact.
SPONSORSHIP
Financial support via the tiered sponsorship scheme or custom partnership to boost business visibility whilst simultaneously enriching the lives of thousands.
The evening falls at the start of the theatre’s packed winter season, including workshops designed to unlock creativity, world-class comedy gigs, and the ever-popular in-house Christmas show, which this year is the universally beloved The Nutcracker. Since 2023, Taunton Brewhouse has supported the community through its Pay-It-Forward scheme, offering complimentary Christmas show tickets to families and individuals who face financial barriers to access the arts. This is one example of how the Brewhouse gives back to the community.
