The Brewhouse launch a Crowd Funding Campaign to help raise funds to install a state-of-the-art Cinema in the heart of Taunton
Film Buffs, Thespians and Audience Members are invited to Play their Part, in the next exciting phase of The Brewhouse’s history. The Brewhouse are asking people to back their latest venture and help raise £40k to install a new cinema which will entertain audiences day and night, in their comfy auditorium, with surround sound and accessible ticket prices.
The cinema will operate throughout the year, integrated and complementing The Brewhouse’s live performance programme. The Brewhouse plan to stream the best live theatre, opera, music and dance direct to the centre of Taunton. There will be a programme of current and classic cinema from around the world, from iconic film studios to independent film-makers, with bespoke festivals and plenty of family flick’s.
Chief Executive, Vanessa Lefrancois says “The cinema will add a new dynamic element to our arts programme whilst income generated from ticket sales will increase The Brewhouse’s financial resilience, ensuring its continued development and success for future generations. Every pound raised will go directly to the cinema appeal and help make Somerset’s County Town a more exciting and vibrant place to live, work and play.”
