With support from Garfield Weston Foundation, Taunton Brewhouse will be commissioning a new creative project to explore our contemporary relationship with the environment and how we can
work to better sustain it.
The GROW Commission is open to ideas from any artform, and to any artist or group of artists based in the South West of England. The final project must result in a public-facing presentation
(performance, recording, exhibition etc.) that must take place before the end of June 2022.
Taunton Brewhouse is committed to expanding the diversity and representation of the voices we present, and encourage applications from Black, Asian and mixed-race artists, LGBTQIA+ artists,
artists with disabilities and artists from working class backgrounds.
The successful applicant will receive £10,000 to develop and deliver the project. Taunton Brewhouse will also offer additional in-kind support that the project may require (including producing support, space and equipment), subject to availability.
