May is the month that simply refuses to be summarised. 

As we look ahead to our 50th anniversary in 2027, we’re really pleased to share that Taunton Brewhouse has been awarded £527,000 from Arts Council England to support an upgrade of our auditorium and studio lighting — much of which has been in place since we first opened our doors in 1977.

April is here and with it, the unmistakable feeling of everything beginning again. Spring has well and truly sprung, bringing longer days, softer light, and the quiet magic of the earth waking up.

There’s something very special about awards season. For a few weeks each year, film lovers come together to celebrate storytelling at its most powerful – the performances, the music, the craft behind the camera, and the moments that stay with us long after the credits roll.
