Our Spring 2025 Season is officially here!

January 22, 2025

We are excited to unveil our vibrant spring programme featuring a fun mix of live performances, classes, and culinary delights. From comedy and drama, to music, film and family entertainment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

This season boasts an outstanding line-up of top TV comics and stand up-legends. From household names such as Lou Sanders and Sara Pascoe, to emerging talent including The Cosmic Twegheads, audiences can expect performances that span sharp-witted stand-up to fast-paced sketches.

This spring, our stage will also come to life with new theatre adaptations, bringing beloved stories to life in fresh and exciting ways. Inspired by the literary classic, Conn Artists Theatre Company transform Thomas Hardy’s Far from the Madding Crowd into a ★★★★★ drama, complete with authentic music from the period.

Hannay Stands Fast, a thrilling sequel to The 39 Steps, sees the legendary Richard Hannay on a mission to thwart a new and deadly threat to England, and National Theatre Connections returns with No Regrets, a collection of thought-provoking scenes by Scottish playwright Gary McNair.

Meanwhile, younger audiences can enjoy an enchanting selection of family shows as iconic characters leap from the page with book-to-stage adaptations of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s Room on the Broom and The Smartest Giant in Town, Tom Fletcher’s There’s a Monster in Your Show, and Michael Morpurgo’s Farm Boy. The explosive Ministry of Science and Exciting Science also turn up the heat with a series of mind-blowing experiments.

Music fans are in for a real treat with award-winning tributes to Take That, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, and more, alongside intimate gigs from country, folk, and acoustic stars. Highlights include Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman, whose illustrious careers spans over 25 years, BBC Folk Award-winners and former Bellowhead band members, Spiers & Boden, and Maddie Morris, whose bold and refreshing songs tackle important contemporary issues.

We’re also thrilled to mark the 30th anniversary of the Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers with a special show packed full of dynamic choreography, heart-pounding rhythms, and atmospheric soundscapes, as well as host talks with the nation’s favourite TV stars and sporting heroes. The Great British Bake Off judge, Dame Prue Leith, shares a candid insight into her remarkable career, The Inbetweeners star, Joe Thomas, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the beloved British sitcom, and athletes Sir Geoff Hurst and Jimmy White reflect on their legendary achievements.

We also also offer a diverse selection of films, from the latest Hollywood blockbusters to critically acclaimed releases. Audiences can also enjoy live and recorded broadcasts from the Royal Ballet and Opera, as well as must-see productions from Exhibition on Screen and National Theatre Live on the big screen.
