Let loose your imagination to create a beautiful, textile moth sculpture. Build your moth from fabric, wool beads and wire and decorate with hand embroidery. There will be a small amount of sewing using a machine but no experience is necessary and all equipment and materials are supplied.
Please bring along a packed lunch.
The workshop leader:
Beth is a textile artist working from her home studio in the heart of mid Devon. She uses a wide variety of techniques including embroidery, applique, fabric dying, beading and wirework to create one-off pieces of art and jewellery. Living in such a beautiful place she is spoilt for choice for inspiration – moor, coast, wild hedgerows, woodland and a patch of wildflower meadow in her garden.
She trained and worked as a costume maker for theatre and film where she became particularly interested in embellishment, colour and decorative work. A move back to the south west meant a change from costume work but provided plenty of inspiration and allowed her to combine her love of textiles and the natural world. After several years evolving and experimenting as a textile artist, while living in Somerset and Hampshire, she is now settled in Devon, working in my home studio.

Waiting List & Re-Selling Tickets
While we have a no refund and no exchange policy, the Box Office facilitates a Waiting List for events which are sold out, and a potential Re-Sale list of tickets that customers can no longer use. If an event is listed as sold out, please phone the Box Office to add your name and phone number to the Waiting List.
If you can no longer use your ticket(s), please phone the Box Office to discuss. We may be able to sell them to another customer if the event is sold out. These tickets will not be for purchase online, but will be offered to customers already on the Waiting List or who enquire after the show has sold out.
If some or all of your tickets are re-sold, they will be refunded to you minus the non-refundable £3 commission on each ticket.
We do not guarantee any sales via this process, and we will only attempt to re-sell tickets when all other seats have been sold and the event is listed as sold out.
