Join Helen McCormick for a fun and creative session where you will learn how to make a beautiful dragon sculpture. She will guide you through the pottery-making process, from shaping the clay to adding intricate details. Whether you’re a beginner or have experience with pottery, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their artistic side.

Through the day you will be taught step-by-step instructions on how to design and build your dragon sculpture using traditional hand-building techniques. All materials and equipment will be provided.

Please feel free to bring along a packed lunch to enjoy in your lunch break, tea and coffee will be available in the workshop room. Please bring an apron or wear old clothes. If possible, trim any long nails which will help when modelling the clay.

After the workshop, Helen will carefully take your sculpture home and fire it in my kiln. These sculptures are not glazed as the terracotta will age beautifully in your garden over time. Your sculpture will be ready to collect approximately 6 weeks after the workshop. We will let you know the date and time.

The workshop runs 10:15 – 16:45
