“Out of the darkness into the light” is a celebration of dance and music made possible because of Somerset County Council and Somerset Sports Partnership’s reconditioning grant.
This was a chance for learning disabled communities in Somerset to come together after lockdown had isolated and separated them from family and friends. It encouraged regular exercise and movement and highlighted that this should be an important part of their week, however, these weekly sessions became so much more than that. We have built a community that continues to thrive. This show is a celebration of that.
