Ali is a maker who wastes nothing. Every beautiful fabric she works with — and she works with a lot — gets used to its fullest. Larger pieces find their way into garment linings and bag pockets. Smaller scraps get cut into strips. And even the tiniest offcuts get kept, because Ali knows that good fabric deserves a second life.
Those strips and scraps are exactly what you’ll be working with in this workshop, transforming them into a gorgeous rag wreath to take home and hang on your door this Christmas.
Rag wreaths are a wonderfully satisfying make — tactile, forgiving, and genuinely enjoyable to put together, whatever your experience level. Ali’s fabric choices are beautiful: rich colours and textures that make for a wreath that feels considered and special rather than thrown together.
Everything you need is included in your workshop, so you can just turn up, settle in, and make something lovely.

Ali has supported creatives in a wide range of settings, nurturing confidence and encouraging personal growth through hands-on making, curiosity and thoughtful guidance. She studied Textile Design at Loughborough College of Art and has worked across printed textile design, interior design, visual merchandising and education.

Waiting List & Re-Selling Tickets
While we have a no refund and no exchange policy, the Box Office facilitates a Waiting List for events which are sold out, and a potential Re-Sale list of tickets that customers can no longer use. If an event is listed as sold out, please phone the Box Office to add your name and phone number to the Waiting List.
If you can no longer use your ticket(s), please phone the Box Office to discuss. We may be able to sell them to another customer if the event is sold out. These tickets will not be for purchase online, but will be offered to customers already on the Waiting List or who enquire after the show has sold out.
If some or all of your tickets are re-sold, they will be refunded to you minus the non-refundable £3 commission on each ticket.
We do not guarantee any sales via this process, and we will only attempt to re-sell tickets when all other seats have been sold and the event is listed as sold out.
