Have you ever wanted to make your own silver jewellery but are not sure where to start? Then this class could be for you. In this introduction to silver jewellery making you will discover the magic of using metal clay to make hallmark worthy jewellery in just a few hours. You will learn how to shape, process, fire and finish your pieces with a few simple tools. Metal clay is a wonderful material and an accessible way to create your own silver jewellery at home and I want to give you the skills to do this after you leave the workshop. You will leave with a necklace and earrings to wear at the end of the workshop (or another item if you do not wear earrings!). All materials for jewellery making are supplied in the cost (materials of £31 – this includes two chains alongside earring wires and 10g of silver)
This is suitable for beginners or anyone wanting to learn more about making their own jewellery making. I’ll provide plenty of inspiration and examples to help you design and make your pieces. All you need to bring is curiosity and a desire to take a few hours for yourself making something beautiful!
Please feel free to bring along a packed lunch to enjoy in your lunch break, tea and coffee will be available in the workshop room.

About your workshop leader:
Naomi Brookes is an artist and jeweller based in Devon. She creates handmade jewellery inspired by nature. Every piece starts life as a real leaf, flower, fossil, or shell before she captures it in silver, making every piece as unique as you.
Naomi feels most at home in wild places. The open moor, the dell of a woodland with the sunlight filtering down catching the wings of a butterfly, the scrubby sea cliffs of Devon where she lives, the playful burbling of a stream meandering through a meadow. She makes jewellery to take nature with me, to remind her of its abandon, exuberance and beauty.

Waiting List & Re-Selling Tickets
While we have a no refund and no exchange policy, the Box Office facilitates a Waiting List for events which are sold out, and a potential Re-Sale list of tickets that customers can no longer use. If an event is listed as sold out, please phone the Box Office to add your name and phone number to the Waiting List.
If you can no longer use your ticket(s), please phone the Box Office to discuss. We may be able to sell them to another customer if the event is sold out. These tickets will not be for purchase online, but will be offered to customers already on the Waiting List or who enquire after the show has sold out.
If some or all of your tickets are re-sold, they will be refunded to you minus the non-refundable £3 commission on each ticket.
We do not guarantee any sales via this process, and we will only attempt to re-sell tickets when all other seats have been sold and the event is listed as sold out.
