Join bestselling crime author, Clare Donoghue and the Taunton Thespians at the Brewhouse Theatre for a thrilling evening of death, detective work and drinks and nibbles.
The Brewhouse Bards are making their final preparations for their Halloween performance of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. With only a handful of main parts and stage time to fight for, competition is fierce. On the night of the dress rehearsal, a selective few members of the public have been invited to the performance. However, as with all dress rehearsals they’ve been told to expect delays, interruptions and the occasional missed line, and entrance. What they didn’t expect was murder.
Can our audience, turned detectives, solve the murder before the killer strikes again?
Detectives will be put into teams of 6 to solve the murder and there will be special prizes for the top three teams.
Book a full team of 6 in one transaction and get £5 off per person! Tickets include the murder mystery experience, nibbles supplied by Mr Miles, plus a book by Clare Donoghue. Clare will also do a book signing at the end of the event.

Alongside her writing, Clare is also a freelance editor and creative writing tutor, using her knowledge and experience to help others achieve their writing dreams!
Taunton Thespians
The Taunton Thespians are a fun, friendly and creative theatre group based in Taunton. Membership is open to anyone aged 16 or over with an interest in live theatre. Every year we stage two major theatre productions, participate in drama festivals and spend two weeks on the road with an outdoor touring production in July. In November 2024, we were thrilled to premiere a brand-new adaptation of Bram Stoker’s classic tale “Dracula”. And we are excited to revisit the Dracula’s world in the form of a murder mystery.
