The Little Prince – Ensemble Auditions

Run away to the circus this Christmas with Taunton Brewhouse and Metta Theatre’s extraordinary circus musical The Little Prince, adapted for the stage by award-winning writer/director Poppy Burton-Morgan and composer Candida Caldicot.

We are looking for fearless and enthusiastic performers aged 9-17 to join the production and perform alongside some of Europe’s most exciting circus artists. As it’s both a circus show and a musical we are looking for a range of skills, so if you only have one or the other please do still apply!

Following the story of Antoine De Saint Exupery’s novel, we meet a stranded pilot and her friend the Little Prince, alongside a host of other colourful characters from snakes and foxes to lamplighters and kings – creating a wild array of landscapes and planetary realities with nothing more than a few props and the human body.

This will be very ensemble-based work so aside from physical skills (singing, dancing, circus, gymnastics, trampolining, parkour) we are looking for enthusiastic young people who can work well in a team and are playful and open to new ideas & approaches.
