Join Alison Bellringer for this fun introduction to the art of calligraphy where you’ll learn the basic elements of design, writing, decoration, and embellishment throughout a 4 week course.
Alison will guide you through the use of calligraphy marker pens, metal edged pens, quills with ink, and gouache paint. Use your new skills to complete a piece/pieces of calligraphy (with or without illumination).

Alison Bellringer was captivated by the beauty of calligraphy at a young age and now, a practised artist, delivers workshops, classes, and undertakes commissioned work. Alison’s teaching aim is to share her passion for calligraphy. She welcomes everyone to come along and try this creative art form, rooted in history and so popular today.
