LEARN: Experimental Printmaking for Families

Discover the magic of experimental monoprinting in this printmaking session, culminating in a handmade sketchbook for you to take home and continue your creative practice in.

Jess Rafferty White will guide you through a range of techniques and processes to achieve marks through the gestural and painterly process of monoprinting. To begin with you will gather first hand sources and develop your own printmaking blocks. We will then experiment with colour relationships and layering through printmaking. Finally, you will then print your imagery to create a small concertina artist book.

You may wish to bring some simple images or found objects with you to the workshop, however, all materials will be provided. This will be a playful session that will offer you the chance to explore the potential of printmaking.

Please do come equipped with your own apron.

£21.50 per adult or person aged 14+. £11.50 for children 8+ but only bookable with a full price adult. No unaccompanied under 14’s.
