LEARN: Calligraphy Workshop

Join us for this fun introduction to the art of calligraphy where you’ll learn the basic elements of design, writing, decoration, and embellishment.

Use your new skills to decorate cards, gift tags or create your own inspiring motto poster. Calligraphy marker pens, metal edged pens, and quills will all be used with ink and gouache paint.

Lettering guidelines will be included within your ticket price and pens will be available to purchase, if you don’t already have them. Also included in your ticket price is a drink from our bar or a tea/coffee during the session.

Alison Bellringer was captivated by the beauty of calligraphy at a young age and now, a practised artist, delivers workshops, classes, and undertakes commissioned work. Alison’s teaching aim is to share her passion for calligraphy. She welcomes everyone to come along and try this creative art form, rooted in history and so popular today.
