BrewHaha Comedy – Night Oct ’22

An evening of laughter and live entertainment courtesy of the UK’s greatest comedy acts. From much-loved favourites to exciting new talent, our BrewHaha Comedy Night offers something for everyone! The evening will feature three top stand ups delivering side-splitting sets, all compered by an engaging MC.

This year’s line up includes:

Matt Rees

Multi-award-winning Welsh comedian Matt Rees has generated a huge buzz on the circuit over the past few years with his unique brand of well-crafted gags and acerbic delivery, earning him high praise from audiences and critics alike. As well as starring in BBC3’s This Country and BBC’s Edinburgh Fringe Highlights, Matt has also recently recorded an episode of BBC2’s Stand Up at BBC Wales, and appeared on Amazon’s Audible Presents.

Abi Clarke

Abi Clarke is a stand-up comedian based in Bristol who took to the internet in 2020 due to lockdown, and achieved remarkable success. Abi was named as one of the eleven comedy stars of the internet by The Independent, and has had her viral sketches shared by the likes of ENews, Buzzfeed, LadBible, Good Morning Britain, and BBC One. Fans of her online work include Russell Howard, Katherine Ryan, Patton Oswalt, SNL writer Mike DiCenzo, and Family Guy creator Dan Povenmire.

Katie Green

One of the most exciting new voices to hit the UK comedy scene, Katie Green was born and raised near San Francisco in a British and Salvadoran household. Prior to moving to the UK, Katie has been featured in HBO’s Women in Comedy Festival, LaughFest, and the San Diego Comedy Festival. Katie was a Funny Women finalist in 2020, and in 2022 secured a place in one of Edinburgh Festival’s most prestigious new-comic showcases, ‘The Pleasance Comedy Reserve’.

Sam Russell 

Sam is an exciting newer act already making his mark on the comedy circuit, both in the UK and abroad. Warm and likeable, his optimistic, upbeat brand of comedy focuses on the hilarity of life’s weirder moments and the challenges of it’s everyday mundanities, to which we can all relate. A natural host, Sam is a sought-after presenter and regularly comperes at comedy nights all over the country, including a resident MC spot at London’s Angel Comedy.
