A festive evening of laughter and live entertainment courtesy of the UK’s greatest comedy acts. From much-loved favourites to exciting new talent, our BrewHaha Comedy Night offers something for everyone! This special Christmas themed event will feature three top stand ups delivering side-splitting sets, all compered by an engaging MC.

Be sure to complete your night with a trip to our theatre bar, where you’ll find a range of premium snacks, refreshments and of course some festive treats. Mince pie or mulled wine anyone? This year’s line up includes:

Paul McCaffrey

Paul has recently completed two sell-out tours of the UK with Sean Lock on his Keep it Light tour in 2017, and more recently, Kevin Bridges on his record-breaking The Brand New Tour in 2018. He has performed two solo tours of his own – Suburban Legend in 2018 and Lemon in 2020 and 2021

In 2019, Paul made his debut on the flagship BBC stand-up show Live at the Apollo. He previously starred in BBC Three’s Impractical Jokers and Russell Howard’s Good News, as well as Comedy Central’s Stand Up Central, Channel 4’s 50 Funniest, and CBBC’s The Dog Ate My Homework. An accomplished radio presenter and guest, he is also the star of The Paul McCaffery Show on Jack FM every Saturday.

Jake Lambert

Jake fell into a career as a stand up after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym @LittleLostLad, deciding to put down his iPhone and pick up a microphone. It proved to be a great choice, with him promptly placing as a 2015 semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award and becoming a finalist in the 2016 Amused Moose Comedy Awards.

With two sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and a deluge of fantastic reviews, Jake is establishing a name for himself. His combination of one-liners, short stories and strange thoughts has seen him perform on Comedy Central’s Live from the Comedy Store and ITV2’s Stand Up Sketch Show. He has also been incredibly busy doing tour support for his comedy peers including Michael McIntyre, Jack Dee, Seann Walsh, Kerry Godliman, Tom Allen, Rob Beckett, and Romesh Ranganathan as well as gigging at comedy clubs, universities and theatres across the UK.

Laura Lexx

Comedian, author, improvisor, and actor Laura Lexx is vivacious, impassioned, smart, and one of the best female comedians currently performing. Born and bred in the home county of Somerset, Lexx’s homely demeanour, warmth, and energy delightfully juxtapose her biting wit, sharp tongue, and brutal audience take downs; so don’t be fooled by her enigmatic charm. This gutsy lady packs a punch and bites back!

Lexx is an all-round performer bursting with talent, creativity, and stamina. Having reached the lofty heights of the top of the live comedy club circuit, headlining at clubs around the UK and Europe, she now boasts a series of highly-polished and critically acclaimed stand up shows, as well as appearing on the likes of Live at the Apollo, Hypothetical, Mock the Week, and Comedy Central’s Roast Battle.
